My add-on porch has lots of windows and is made of a fiberglass roof and thin walls. I would really like to insulate it. The biggest issue is the ceiling/roof. It is low enough that I'd rather add insulating material to the outside so as not to lose ceiling height. I could add panels of rigid foam to the walls on the inside, so lets keep this discussion to the ceiling. Thank yo so much! have attached a pic of the type of material it's made of. It has no wooden reinforcement. but the picture illustrates the actual type of roofing

You have already built this ? Id the corrugated material translucent ? If so , is that a deal breaker ?

You wish to insulate to keep the heat out or the cold out , or both ?

FWIW, aside from anything else, keep the insulation dry once you decide what to use. Wet is bad and it will probably never dry out if water gets to it
