Hi guys,
I am in the process of installing an Ikea PAX modular closet system. Unfortunately, I have a light switch that will be partially blocked by one of the closet panels. I am unable to move the light switch as it is already up against the beam. (please refer to the picture below). I do not want to cut out a portion of the closet panel to access the light switch.
I was thinking of removing the light switch, wire it to always remain on and install a wireless light switch in its place. I also want to install a ceiling fan but do not want to deal with looking for the ceiling fan remote each time I turn on/off the light.
My question is, will a wireless light switch work with a ceiling fan? Meaning when I turn on the wireless light switch, will the ceiling fan and light will turn on without any issues. I’m thinking it should but am not 100% sure.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
