I have a Porch which had ceramic tiles (now removed) over concrete (uninsulated floor). To make things worse it had a surface water manhole concreted and tiled. Talk about condensation when the air was warm and the floor cold! I have insulated the drain cover and now need to know what type of floor covering to use to insulate the floor from the air above to stop condensation moulding the walls (it's not a rising damp problem). I have about 4mm to play with. I have sealed the concrete. The walls if it affects anything are stone cavity (no insulation and no option to insulate). I' thinking vinyl or some sort of insulating layer then thinner floor covering but maybe one layer will suffice.
Any ideas? Thanks.
