Hi all,
I was trying to replace a ceiling light. After I pulled off the old light, I turned the breaker on and noted none of the outlets in the room had power. I assume wiring outlets through a ceiling fixture is not a best practice.
I also noted that when the breaker was off, I still had one hot wire among the three on the old light.
I am going to get a professional to fix this, but wondered if anyone had an idea what was done wrong.p
