Hi
I just installed an awning using 12mm rawl plugs and large screw bolts in attach the fixings in the wall.
This cracked the bricks and mortar at 2 of the fixings.
Please see photos - the fixing closest to the corner of the wall looks kind of alarming to me.
Any suggestions on how to fix / bodge / ignore?
Many thanks!!
Ben

Hi
I think that is my plan A. I will remove the bloody awning, and bolts, and hope it all closes.
If it closes I will drill out the plastic plugs and then use resin and threaded steel rods to re-fix.
Well, I hope it all closes!
Does that sound sensible?
Thanks!

it's not really a big deal, the only thing that matters is that eventually, the screws that you drilled will become loose, but that will take time. otherwise, it's not a big problem.

You could repoint it easily or use polyurethane structural adhesive and then repoint.
