    Welcome aboard! :) Your garden is so nice - I have a soft spot for anything with elements of a Japanese garden.

    Have you been to the Japanese gardens at Tatton Park before? It won't be too far from you.

    Thanks for your kind words.

    We've been to Tatton Park many times. Wasn't impressed with their tea-house. It looked like something out of "South Pacific."

    Mine was inspired a bit by illustations I found in old books of Victorian garden archtecture, in Manchester Central Library. The Victorians were into Japanese designs and brought craftsmen over to build stuff for them. So what they ended up with was a bit of a compromise. I added elements of my own.
