We're thinking about upgrading the forum software here on DIY forums, as well as giving the place a big facelift 
. It's probably still a month or so away and all of the existing content/users/data will still be there - it's just we'll have a better platform to run it from.
One of the main objectives will be to increase participation on the new site and make it easier for new users to ask questions and join in.
I'd be really interested in hearing your ideas on what you'd like to like to see improved in the forum upgrade. Something I've been thinking about is re-arranging/re-naming some of the main forum sections - so if you have any input on that then please do let me know.
