I'm installing a small awning (light) onto older style stucco wall.
Stucco then shiplap.
The mounts don't line up with the studs of course.
What type of fasteners can I use?
The holes in the awning are appropriate 1/2in.
I've been looking, but can't find anything that expands enough in the back to hold it.
Toggle bolts don't seem the way to go, even though they may work.
