can any one help bassin tap valves are not british standard half inch these valves have finner thread been trying for years to replace thank you len

Hi leonard
If you mean you are trying to obtain replacement headgear to fit the existing tap body, you may be out of luck. Various manufacturers have often used finer threads, there's no reason for them to use anything standard. BSP may be more common, but is not a standard for anything other than the tap tails.
