I am replacing the 1 1/2" old tub drain with a 2" shower drain. My plan is to drop the drain on the near side of joists and it will enter the p-trap. I would plan on putting a sanitary tee rotated at a 45 degree angle (notched at the bottom of the joist) so I can maintain vertical rise below the flood-level rim. I would bring the pipe back towards the wall and then a 45 to bring it vertical before connecting to the current vertical vent a few feet up.

Does this seem appropriate in my scenario?
