Hi, I have both a 6ft fridge and a 6ft freezer....the freezers alarm keeps going off and I don't know why! At the top of this freezer is like some sort of air vents going across the width of it, they have suddenly started to freezer right over with all ice poking out of it....what could be causing this. I have defrosted it twice but within 2 days the alarm goes off again and this freezing starts again.
The fridge....again this is a 6footer, the light comes on but its not cold any more so all my food has died/gone stinky. Also I can't hear any humming noise any more.
I do wonder if I have caused these problems by putting them both out in my outhouse, it is cold out there but is fully insulated.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to repair these as its going to cost me a fortune to replace them, and to be honest I can't afford to.
