Hello, I just picked up a hobby making cement tiles and am about to get into my first paid project without having figured everything out yet. Please forgive my ignorant questions, i'm just a bunch of nerves right now.
Part of the curing process requires me to sand down the tile face to remove impurities with some amount of water to keep the tile moist and to remove debris. I can't afford to purchase an air compressor to run a pneumatic sander, can I somehow work around wet sanding with electric orbital sanders like the Makita M9204G?
Also Ive seen recommendations for using silicone carbide discs instead of aluminum, the price difference is not exactly cost friendly, so i'm wondering if I can still go with cheaper sanding discs instead? I'm looking to sand at 220, 400 and 600 grit.
