Hi, recently moved home and I’m being driven mad by my black UPVC front door…the previous owners were keen on furniture restoration and it looks like they splashed some varnish up the front door. It has the look of an egg running down the door.
i was hoping i could remove the blob of varnish and keep the nice black finish of the door in tact.
i have read about turps, acetone and just painting over the varnish wire black satin paint but worried I could cause more damage.
