Hi,

I have had most of the house plaster boarded and skimmed. However now it has dried out you can see the outline of each plasterboard. I want to just paint directly onto the plaster, but will I still be able to see the outlines.

Thanks

No you shouldnt see any outlines once painted , when painting over fresh walls get a cheap tin of emulsion pour some out and mix 50/50 with water then paint the walls with this it will act as a primer/sealer , get a few coats on and when you come to put the final colour coat on the wall it will give a better finish and less likely to flake off

sorry to say it but i dont think your skimming has gone on thick enought, or it could be that the joinst were to big, so have you tryed rubbing down on the outline before you pva your walls and paint
