My wife has been bugging me to restore our 1951 IH Cub tractor for showing at farm shows. The only problem with that idea is I use it almost daily. The solution of course was to buy a bigger, newer tractor. I found this one with only 1,000 hours on it. I have been cleaning up the back acreage for the last 2 days and it runs perfect. Now to start on the Cub.

What a lovely toy Doug; I bet you don't want to get off it.

I'll be interested to watch your Cub restoration; I like things like tractors but could never use one here due to the steepness of our valley site so I can dream on. A ski lift though would work for me.

Ford 2000 or 3000. Most likly a 3000 diesel. Nicle little tractor. Late 1960's early 1970's.

It’s a 2000. I haven’t found the serial number yet so I’m not sure of the year. The guy I bought it from brought over a box of manuals and receipts today so I will know a lot more soon.

Last year made 1965, 36HP, Live PTO, 3020 ro 3362 pounds.

Serial number stamped on the top of the starter mount casting, on the left side of the tractor.
