PAINTING CADT IRON ROLL TOP BATH

Hi I had decided to paint the inside of my white cast iron roll top bath with gold hammertoe, I did a test area but the paint looks a dull greenish colour. The paint may be a year old but had the lid firmly on. It does look a rich gold in the Tim though
Any suggestions please

Stir or shake it up more. It is possible thhat all the pigmentation is not homogenized.
