Hey,
Wasn't sure where to post this, stripped of sometiles a few months back, sourced some nice replacements. But all my reading indicates I have to remove the fireplace surround, then slide in new tiles, use bonding plaster to plaster from the rear and then re-fix surround.
Living room is newly decorated and I can't see anyway of removing the surround (no fixings?), any idea how I can safetly fit the tiles in situ, would tile cement round the outside of the frame suffice or is there other considerations I should be aware of?
Thanks in advance.. - Pics attached.
