I have replaced the rechargeable batteries in both the control panel and external box, Both were way past their best.
The motive to do this was the external alarm was not sounding and I figured it must be the batteries. During the process
of replacing them issues arose with the Tamper but were subsequently fixed. Also when replacing the battery in the external
sounding box the sounder did make a contact noise but not the alarm sound I expected. With everything back in place and
appearing to set and operate correctly the only thing missing is the alarm noise from the external box. This control box is operated by key and has worked well since it was installed a while back.
Does anyone know how to get it working or how to establish what might be wrong with it?
