Hi, I have read so much about BM paints and the range is extensive but I just need to be able to use my Earlex 3000 to paint whitwork. It’s currently painted with dulux eggshell but needs re doing! I have been advised BM scuff satinwood but didn’t know if this was the best choice and will I need to undercoat if eggshell already painted? Many thanks in advance

I've just had a read of the Scuff-X tech specs and it says:

New surfaces should be fully primed, and previously painted surfaces may be primed or spot primed as necessary. For best hiding results, tint the primer to the approximate shade of the finish coat, especially when a significant color change is desired.
As you're painting over eggshell, I'd be tempted to prime it just in case. I'd also use the matching BM primer. If you don't prime it, at the very least give it a light sanding so that the new paint has something to grab on to.
