I'm attempting to mount a TV and soundbar above the fireplace in my new home. The fireplace has an uneven stone veneer on top of dry wall (photo included). I'm curious what kind of screw or anchor/shield would be recommended here. I have found the studs behind the wall, but I'm concerned about putting a lot of weight on the screws as they have to pass over 2 inches before reaching the stud.
Also, any recommendations for achieving a flat mount on an uneven surface like this?
