HI All!

I want a bit of reassurance on some wiring I’ve recently done.

I installed 3 0.9w candle downlights in my bathroom, they’re on a dimmer which flickered when originally installed, I installed the adapter that come with the switch but the adapter does get quite hot.

It’s not untouchable, but if you hold it for more then 5-10 seconds you have to let go.

I installed the adapter before the transformer in the twin & earth leading to the lights – is that right? Or should it be installed after the transformer?

Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks in advance

With so little current draw (3*.9w) there's no reason for anything to heat up. I would remove that until you find out why it is getting hot. Are there no instructions?
