I need to get a window off.
See photos below. The first three are the upper hinge and the second two the lower.
These are in Portugal made by GU.
I think the way it works is to get the pin out the top hinge, then the window will tilt in and I can lift it off the bottom hinge (having first taken out the grub screw). Is that right?
If that's right, the problem is I can't see how to get the pin out the top hinge - it doesn't move if I bash it down from the top or try to pull it out from the bottom.
If it helps, the bottom of the top hinge has a groove for a (big) flat-headed screw driver and a lug (indicating what?). See second photo. It does rotate but it doesn't appear to move up or down and the visible parts of what appear to be the pin in the two 'windows' don't rotate with it.
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance
Neil
