I am trying to put iron spindles into this rail. The stairs above come down into the space leaving an angled wall on a 45.. the iron balusters that I have used all around have a design in them that will not allow them to fit in that space. If I cut them then they will not fit into the 5/8 opening in the top of the iron shoe.. I have to keep the line with the design along the top but how do I finish the bottom ??? You can see it in the photo. How would I go up the angle into the smaller space ??? I have an idea but I would love some options or some insight as to what is the right way to do it
