Hi, looking for advice. Wood burning stove and hearth fitted last week. However when I looked closer it’s sitting too high above the floor boards. I have 45mm to make up from the floorboards to the base of the hearth So new flooring won’t make up the gap. The concrete base also overhangs the hearth making it difficult to fit a facing.
Has the fitter set the hearth too high?
