My Triton over the bath shower started to pour water from the bottom rather than through the hose. I fitted a new pressure release bearing and it still leaks though much less.

My neighbour, who is a plumber, ( hasnt looked at it) says he always has problems with parts and best to get a new shower. Are people in agreement? Thank you. Sian

We have a Triton shower, the solenoid switch went a couple of weeks ago. I could turn off the power, but not the water. To get someone to repair it was not an option, as the only way I could stop the water was from the main stopcock. In any event, a new "like for like" replacement at around £100 was the best option. Took me less than fifteen minutes to change them over.
