Cooker tripping 30 mA rcd

We have rewired a house all protected by 30mA rcd's. The owner has then bought a cooker that states that if tripping problems occur to up the rcd to 100mA. However the 30mA protection is protecting the installation method of the wiring. We could rewire it in surface trunking but this not a preferred method.
So other than rewire or change the cooker has anyone any other ideas?

Do as suggested fit a 60ma rcd. The rcd doesn't protect your installation against over current, it trips when there is leakage to earth.
