Can anyone identify the type of lock in the imgur.com photo with this code:

OK got it now.

I'm afraid I've never seen one like that, It could work by the knob part having a screw thread, then being prevented from unscrewing by the key. If you don't have a key, I can only suggest replacing it. No doubt there's a screw right under the knob though !

Can you see straight down where the two parts are joined, might give a clue.
