Tips on replacing mesh in aluminum sliding doors

Hey,

We have a problem with local animals (cats, dogs) trying to get into our house and they are ripping up the mesh in the aluminum sliding doors and windows. I'd like to replace it with something more sturdy but can't think of what.

Any suggestions?
