I have a SWS SeceuroGlide garage door controlled by a TELCO TVPRP868A 10s controller.
My remote fob went defective (after being run over by the car!) so I bought a replacement from "Garagedoorpartsuk"
Their instructions for programming stated pressing a white button which I could not see in the controller, only a red button.
They said that that was OK so I followed their instructions using the red button.
After programming the door would only go up, I had to manually crank it down.
I then found the white button, programmed the fob but again the door will only go up.
I now find that the red button is the radio system for the safety curtain so I have probably disabled that which is why the door won't come down.Right now the fob doesn't work and the door will only go up with the up button on the controller.
Do you think I need to re program the safety curtain having been pressing the button by mistake?
This 85yo will be very grateful for any help resolving this problem!!
