i had this over on the electrical forum but they closed it being i'm not licensed. anyway they did give some insights. but maybe some other here have some other ideas.
i got a new house and it came with a hom250pspd surge protector installed. i also got a chspt2ultra surge protector to install not knowing the house would have the hom250pspd unit.
my question is what surge device is the better one? i'm thinking of getting a spare unit that came in the panel, but if the chspt2ultra is equivalent then i will just keep that and if i ever need to i can install that one. but if it is a lower grade unit i will source another hom250pspd unit. thanks
