Hi, I plan to install a solar panel to power a security light on to my flat garage roof. The brackets for the panel are held on to the roof through 4 screws (2.5cm in length). Will this damage the water proofing? If yes, any particular adhesives you’d recommend to secure the brackets to the roof?
The roof is made of polyglass and bitumen.
Website image of the panel attached, screws simply go through the bottom of the bracket in to the roof.

Apply an ASPHALT based roof on the underside of the bracket holes, place the bracket onto the roof, keep it in place, screw it down, then apply more sealer above/around the screw heads. NOTE: Make sure you use ASPHALT based roof sealer.....NOT silicon!!!
