I think this fits into this thread, I have recently had to deal with someone breaking into my backyard to try and steal my motorbike. Among the other things, I'm going to round all the screws keeping the gate hinges and fixtures in place. i tried a drill but it wasn't that successful I tried a posi drive bit that rounding the outside very well but not the inside so you can still remove the screw with a screw driver. can anyone suggest anything, please? I'm not flush with money so I'm looking to do this as cheap as possible.

Try filling the slot in the screw head with two part epoxy - JB weld.

There are several differing types of [so called] "Security Heads" on screws.

These types of screw heads require specialised drivers to allow the screw to be either inserted or removed.

Google the above or, "Snake Eye screw heads" there are several differing patterns.

A prominently positioned Dummy CCTV camera so long as it looks the part can assist?

Ken.
