Hi there,
I am just after some advice as to what I should do to retain the dirt at the side of my house. The problem I have is the neighbours garden is about 50cm higher than mine and currently the soil slopes down at a gradient from the fence to the level of our driveway. We are now about to build an extension and need to retail the dirt at the point of the fence. The issue with that is the posts are concreted in what would be the sort we want to remove. I have though about using sleepers and retain it posts but they need to go next to the fence which would involve cutting one side of the concrete holding the post in the ground. My worry is that it will make the fence unstable. Hopefully that makes sense. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to solve this problem. I have attached photos to hopefully show what I mean
