Replacing small doors

Hi there

I am looking to replace 2 doors for my in-law's as want to fit mortice locks onto them.

However, one doors is 1820 x 770 and the other 1790 x 750 and every where I look the sizes are 1981 x 762. The width isn't much of a problem but the height is.

Is it ok to use a electric planer to shave 150-200mm off (top & bottom evenly) to the size I need?
