Hoping someone can help with this. I have a dual pane, aluminum frame bedroom window on the second floor that needs some work done. It's two panels stacked vertically with the lower portion able to slide up and open. Both inner panes have been broken but the outer panes are still intact and appear fine. I'm hoping to replace just the inner panes with a couple of polycarbonate panels to prevent breaking in the future. I'm assuming this is usually done from the outside, but as it's on the second floor I'm hoping to avoid that if possible. Can this be done?
