Replacing drop ceiling

My polebarn had a drop ceiling that was all f*caked up & I tore it down. My roof truss are 40"-42" above where I want to put new ceiling joist to drywall my ceiling. How do i attach the 2 for support & weight issues? Using 5/8's inch drywall & 2"x6"x16' for new truss or ceiling joist?
