Rain Chains as opposed to Down Spouts

Hi Y'all,

I have a small cottage with a metal roof and I have a large screen on the front. The stoop has a water diverter. At each end of the water diverter I want to hang rain chains. My problem is attaching it to the roof. I attached an image of one end of the diverter. The gentleman at Lowe's was adamant about putting a hole in the roof......how else will I attach the chains?

Any suggestions / help is greatly appreciated.
