please help!!

i have a sime 80c format boiler which has just packed in yesterday and am freezing!!
i have checked water pressure and also turned off the boiler then back on again,however the boiler does not fire up and i am left with a flashing light by the fan icon on the display which is going from green to orange! please can anyone help.any advice is much apreciated

just ring your supplier e.g British gas and ask for advice

I havent fitted or worked on Sime boilers but it sounds like the fan either isn't running or running too slowly, possibly down to the oil in fan bearings being more viscous due to the cold weather, faulty air pressure switch or a PCB fault
All you can do yourself is see / hear if the fan is actually running and check the flue outlet isn't blocked (this would be very unusual).
