Hi all
I have a new bathroom fitted 2 months ago.
My sink/basin has one faucet which by pushing the handle left to right suplies hot & cold water. I pull the handle upwards to turn the water on, when I turn the water anywhere from 1% to 95% power there is an awful straining noise from the faucet & the pipe ? Its like a resistance building.
If I turn the water on full then there is very little noise ? My cold water is from a tank in the loft & my hot water comes from a combination gas boiler. Now I don't get the same noise from my Kitchen faucet, maybe thats because the cold water comes direct from outside incoming mains ?
Is it the different pressures of water in the bathroom that is cauding this noice ? When I bought the faucet the guy in the shop assured me that the faucet can take the different pressures as my Plumber did advise me to ask this to the shop in advance.
Thanks.
