Installing Radiators In Hallway where Air Circulated from Eaves of House

Hi All,

Any guidance or discussion would be appreciated.

Currently, in our home, our hallway and landing is 1 area, no doorway but extremely cold. This in part I believe is due to a fan/dehumidifier
in our hallway ceiling that pulls air in from the eaves to sort out a previous problem with damp. Now, to add further to this; this fan has been there since before we bought the home to combat damp and we have not seen any damp ourselves.

We're trying to keep the house warmer all round and although I've toyed with the idea of turning off the fan, there is still no additional heating in the common area.

My questions are around the following:

1. Would installing radiators where this fan is located heat this area purposefully?
2. Would the introduction of a heat source increase the chance of damp?
3, What would your opinions be on turning off the eaves fan where there are no signs and have been no signs of damp in the last 4 1/2 years?

Again, any guidance or opinion is valued. Thank you in advance.
