Installing new trusses

I am going to take the roof of and install new room in the roof trusses, my question is can i leave the joist in place pack the new trusess up on slate so i can leave all the ceilings in place saving lots of work and mess?? Thanks

I have to ask two questions,
Do you have building regulation approval ?
What exactly do you mean by trusses ?

I would have thought it would be clear in the drawings. Why not have a word with the BCO.
