Hi,

Please help!

I have the above dryer which has worked fine for the last couple of years. I installed a new heating element and drum bearing 2 months ago which worked fine.
Recently, it has started to trip the RCD on my mains panel.

On investigation I found moisture buildup within the heating element housing, and approx 2 tablespoons of water drains out the bottom of the housing when I take the cover off.
I can dry it up, restart it and within 20-30 minutes it trips again.

What might be causing the hot, moist air to condense in this location?

The pump and float switch seem fine.

Thanks, Charlie
