The trim/skirting around the stairs is bad, must have been rushed by cowboys, then some weird panel at the top of stairs. Flimsy sheet of wood, can pull back slightly and peer down. Can see the bit between floors, and appears that the floor comes out slight further that the wall. Is this why they put skirting going across and then poor panel job below it, instead of plasterboard and plaster down to stair casing. Just looks a mess, along with the badly attached beading whole way along stairs. Best way to fix, hide or improve? All ideas welcome and what type of tradesmen to contact?
How would you fix this, or who would u need to contact.
