We have a half bath that is just ugly. I am planning to go through and remove paneling and replace with drywall and was hoping to somehow hide the furnace. I was thinking of placing a sliding or folding door with a screen or slots to allow air circulation. Would this be allowed? Any help would be great!

Ask the maker of the furnace what the building-in requirements/restrictions are.

I think its 24 inches from front of furnace for wood or other flammable materials. Easiest and cheapest would be metal and that could be 6 inches from furnace.
