Fridge Freezer Question

I have an old Fridge Freezer that luckily still works. The model is a LEC N24.
My question is, above the door on the outside there is a switch H & E but I am not sure what this is for. If I switch it to H then the orange light comes on. Can someone please tell me what each setting is for as I cant find any information or a manual online?
