fold down bed pivot hinge

I am looking for the "dowel" and cup type pivot hinge for a fold down bed. I can find them as part of a $300 kit, but that is a bit much. Where are the hinges sold individually? They look like a 1.5 inch diameter dowel and a cup with a slightly larger diameter. Thanks.
