Flat roof dilemma

In regards of flat roofing for my extension , what would be best in terms of cost and lifespan, for the protection needed. Ive heard some of these new products are quite good.. But in not really sure!
Any ideas?

no problem with standing water

EPDM Rubber Roofing, it can last over 50 years. Firestone EPDM comes in a single sheet so no chance of leaks, just make sure you get someone who is Firestone approved to install it.
