Does Voltage Optimisation work on a large energy using site say 1000KVA, that has mixed loads on a long duty cycle with a high average voltage? streamline-power.com think there may be a positive result.

Patlee, it does indeed, large energy using sites are the most qualifying factor for voltage optimisation, especially ones with a high voltage income.

With electricity coming from the grid at an average of 242V although this can also be higher, and the fact that most electrical equipment is capable of operating at a minimum of 220V, many businesses are being supplied a higher voltage than they need, and of course paying for it.

Voltage optimisation therefore drops the voltage to a level that more accordingly matches the electrical start up of equipment, hence saving both money and reducing carbon emissions along with a range of other positive associated benefits.

Powerstar voltage optimisation units are manufactured specifically to suit each site and our sizes range from 5KVA to 3,000KVA.

I take it you are considering voltage optimisation for a particular site? If you have any further questions, one of our engineers would be more than happy to have a chat, or indeed book in an appointment if you would rather. Our office number is 01709 836200
