Hello,

We got our back door replaced a year ago and for them to fit it they had to damage the plasterboard so we have decided to replace all the plasterboard as there was underlying issues affecting the integrity. They had put in expanding foam on the edges. We are skimming the wall in a few weeks but in sure how to cover up the expanding foam. This may be a stupid question but what the best way to cover it up? And is there a way to plaster it?

As an amateur DIY'er and average (at best) plasterer, I have not had any issues plastering directly on to the foam once it is fully cured.
