Conservertory floor

Hi,

I am keen to build a new lean to (conservertory) my old one is damp and 30 years old.... i want to raise the floor up so it is level with the house approx 150mm the floor that is down already is concrete ..

can some one tell me the best way to do this cheaply but efficiently..

Hi,

Did you manage to get this sorted? The cost will very much depend on the size of the room but for me your best bet would be adding concrete again and leave to dry. Once the floor is dry I would suggest checking to make sure it is level. If it isn't level, use a levelling compound to level and leave to dry. After this you simply decide on your choice of flooring, some of which will require an additional underlay and others that will require no underlay.

Flooring I would suggest you consider for your conservatory are laminate or hardwood flooring, carpet, lino, ceramic floor tiles or PVC floor tiles.
